Apple is will introduce a new dark mode in its iOS 13 and a new ipad home screen. Bloomberg reports that iOS 13 will include a dark mode, which will presumably be system-wide, for easier nighttime viewing.

In recent years a lot of apps e.g Twitter, YouTube etc have added dark modes, and now Apple is planning to introduce dark mode in its own OS. It follows a dark mode that launched with macOS Mojave last year.

Dark mode will not be the only new feature to iOS 13, some other features include, CarPlay improvements and a new iPad home screen. Bloomberg didn’t provide any new details on what the new iPad home screen will look like, but iOS 13 is also said to include a tab interface for apps and file management improvements.

Apple is also said to be integrating new services into iOS 13, including a magazine subscription service and original video content. At the moment it is not clear what are the new features that we will get to see in iOS 13 but we expect to get more details on iOS 13 in June when Apple is expected to hold its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).
