Marketing is one of those term that has many meaning, Today people think that marketing is just about Ads or selling a product but it is not just that there are many things to learn about in marketing apart from what people think these days.

Market is very board subject that people define in their own different ways. The Fundamentals of Marketing:

Marketing is not just about running Ads on social media or on TV or newspapers its way more than that. Market is about understanding your customers need and how to meet their requirement.

Marketing is reaching audience with the right message to the right person at the right time. It is about understanding customer psychology, creating a perception about our product, creating a great product, developing trust and interacting with the customer even after the sale has happened. It’s not just about selling something but to build trust and relationship with your customers also. It’s about creating a brand i.e. creating awareness.

Traditional Marketing vs Digital Marketing:

Traditional Marketing is a way to reach audience through offline mediums. Such as using outdoor billboards or posters, Broadcasting on radio or TV, Prints on Magazines and Newspapers, Telemarketing etc.

Traditional marketing is not only one of the oldest forms of marketing, but has most reached that’s why most of the companies and brands still use traditional marketing coz audience can be huge reached easily. But there data available about how much customers have reached etc so one cannot measure the results.

Digital marketing is the modern method of marketing where brand awareness i.e. customer is reached using the online medium or any other forms of digital communication. This includes not only email, social media, content marketing or any other web-based advertising.

Unlike Traditional marketing, Digital market provide all the necessary data about how much customers have reached and about their time of engagement etc. so one cannot measure the results and also make decisions based on the data.

CATT Marketing Funnel:

CATT stands for Content, Attention, Trust, and Transaction.

Content: Our niche is the most important factor on which the whole plan or target is based. Once we have selected our niche the next part is creating content that are useful and that adds value to your audience. No matter what your nice is and how much competition is in that particular area if you deliver quality content that adds value to your audience you will find your way through it.  

Attention: After creating the content the next part is to reach audience to promote your content so it can reach people and create an audience for you. You need to create awareness about your content. You can do that using traditional marketing method or digital marketing.

Trust: Now building trust with your audience is very important and it is the key of a successful business. You need to communicate with your audience in a way that they can understand what you are trying to say the message that you are trying to deliver.

To build trust you need to know about the need and of your audience only then you would be able to create something that can add value to their life. You can use techniques such as marketing automation, retargeting etc. to interact with your audience.      

Transaction: Once you build trust with your audience and they believe that your content can create value for them you then you can easily convert those leads (audience) to your customers. And that can be continued by re-purchase of another product over the time.

Integrated Digital Marketing:

Integrated digital marketing means combine all the different digital marketing channel together instead of working on every platform separately, you can combine all your marketing channel to form a process that work effectively and complements each other in a way that strengthens your system and increase the customer base on its own.

Some of the common digital marketing methods are Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing etc.

Brand is an image that people have about something or some product.

Personal branding is a process of creating awareness or about promoting your brand or product among the people. It’s a process of building and maintaining a trust with the people about the brand or product.

It is about communicating to the audience effectively in a way that create impression that their needs are being meet and this will add value in their life i.e. that this will help them to stand out among others.

The goal of personal branding is to deliver a message to the audience that they can understand what you are trying to convey. To build trust and relationship with your audience.

Communication Skills:

Marketing is a way of communicating to your customers about your products using different methods. Communication is not just about a certain language but the way you represent your idea and well the customer understands it. It is a way to transfer certain information from one person to another using an effective medium.

Communication is an important key of marketing as customers make decisions based on the information available and the way you describe your product to them. It also helps to maintain relationships and build trust between customer and the brand.

Conclusion: Marketing is one of the most important aspects of growing your business it is a way to create awareness about your brand or product among the audience. Marketing is a way to communicate about your product with the audience in a way that they could understand what you are trying to convey. Marketing is about building trust and relationship with your audience that can later be turned into customers.
