The 93rd Academy Awards or Oscars 2021, was held on 25 April 2021 in LA. And for the first time in history, the awards were held virtually and in-person at Union Station and the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California, U. S. due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Nomadland was the big winner at the 2021 Oscars, taking home the most number of awards (three) including Best Picture, Best Director (for Chloé Zhao), and Best Actress (Frances McDormand). Among the studios, Netflix was the leading winner at the 2021 Oscars with seven awards.
