Amazon Prime Video is now officially available on Comcast Comcast Xfinity X1. That means Customers with Xfinity X1 set top boxes can now stream Amazon Prime Video. The partnership was announced in August, and now Prime subscribers can stream Amazon original content on their X1 TV boxes. The app started rolling out this week, so if it hasn’t hit your TV yet, give it a few days.

Now this is the first time that Amazon Prime content has been available on a cable streaming platform, and with it comes the ability to add other premium channels like Showtime and Starz. It means X1 subscribers now have the option to get their premium channels from either Amazon or through Comcast. Other premium channels usually offered with a Prime Video membership like HBO and Cinemax won’t be available on X1, however, due to the programmers’ restrictions.

For X1 customers with Prime Video subscriptions, they can find the new channel in Apps under Prime Video. Users can also speak into the X1 Voice Remote and play individual titles like The Grand Tour using voice commands.
