Indian tennis Player Sania Mirza and her husband Cricketer Shoaib Malik got blessed with a baby boy on Tuesday, 30 October. Pakistan cricketer Malik took it to twitter to announce the news, and also said that Sania was “doing great and keeping strong as usual”.
Sania and Malik, who got married in 2010, had announced her pregnancy in April.
In an earlier interview, the ace tennis star had said that she and her cricketer-husband had decided that their child will have the surname ‘Mirza-Malik’.
“Today, I will tell you a secret. My husband and I have spoken about it and we have decided that whenever we have a child, the child will have Mirza-Malik as a surname and not just Malik. So that’s where we stand as a family including my husband. He actually wants a daughter,” Sania said.
