ByteDance the parental company of TikTok has confirmed that they are currently making a smartphone now, for which it has partnered with device maker Smartisan Technology.
According to the reports the phone could come pre loaded with ByteDance apps like TikTok and an unreleased music streaming service.
Referring to this development, a TikTok spokesperson was quoted saying that the plans of making a smartphone had been part of Smartisan’s strategy even before it had a deal with ByteDance.
ByteDance hasn’t revealed the details of the phone as of now but it’s possible that the creators of TikTok might end up doing a better job in this space, than a Facebook or even Amazon.
