Apple has recently announced that it is about to launch its Apple News app in Canada next week. The Apple news app curates news and can be set up to provide stories based on a user’s interests.

The app is said to be launched with English and French content from CBC, Radio Canada, La Presse, CTV News and the Toronto Star, but will eventually grow to include stories from other publications.

According to the reports the publishers will be allowed to sell subscriptions through the app, but at the moment the company hasn’t said anything about what will be the charges or cut of the revenue it will take.

Apple launched an early version of the iOS and macOS app for Canadian developers on Thursday.
